These are resources we support that are available to students on request. Some of these resources you can use immediately, others you will need to ask for. This list is not (yet?) comprehensive, we'll add things as we think of them.

University resources[edit]

College of Engineering and Computer Science resources[edit]

  • This wiki can be used for any CECS (or STEM) student project or club
  • Software available to students for free or charge, with and without restrictions
  • Short courses are available on demand (ask Steve to schedule one or drop by)
  • We have a local git repo (ssh only, on campus or vpn use only), just ask for access. (See help:git for details.)
  • Engineering II atrium computers
  • There are several research clusters; access granted with approval of your academic advisor or research group
  • Computer diagnostics and data recovery: we will help students and staff with personal computer equipment on a time available basis
  • [DreamSpark for CECS students and other Microsoft software for students
  • Harris Corporation Gathering Lab / Idea Lab / Texas Instruments Innovation Lab [1]
  • Manufacturing lab

EECS department resources[edit]

  • Graduate students can ask for a monroe account which includes web page space and user@eecs.ucf.edu email address
  • eustis unix servers are accessible to EECS students
  • DreamSpark for EECS students
