Amateur Satellite tracking

There are a number of Amateur Radio Satellites, mostly in low earth orbit (LEO). It is possible to reach these with a HT and a directional antenna like the Arrow dual band yagi, or with an omni-directional antenna and 10w of power.

Also, the UCF ARC club has access to the ground station hardware, which includes a computer controlled two axis rotor, computer controlled all mode radio, and a high power yagi, which should be able to hit all the satellites.
